Hit The Links: Phone Booth Potties Not Up To Par

Please excuse the bad pun, but when you have links on both the Verizon Center’s cleanliness and Tom Poti in the same post, it will happen. Poti is, in fact, up to par. It’s Monday so I had to think of something clever to entertain myself.

One more note on Poti. He’s back and ready for training camp after last year’s injury in the postseason. Never thought I’d be saying this when the Caps acquired him, but Poti is a core member of the Capitals defense. So much for days where he was New York’s whipping boy.

The Verizon Center was recently rated the dirtiest venue out of every facility that houses any of the four major sports’ franchises. Personally, I have never thought it to be that bad. I don’t usually eat there so that may have something to do with it, but I have been to worse arenas.

OV finds himself on another top ten list along with…Eric Belanger???

Great interview from Marcus Johansson, who could end up as the team’s second line center this year. I’ve been working on an article that will go in-depth on the Caps 2C situation. Look for it in the next couple of days.
